Position: Carpenter/Skilled Labourer
Type: paid plus meals and camping space (see below)
Project: My off grid tiny homestead
Location: Knowlesville, New Brunswick
Greetings and thank you for checking this out... I am building a small off-grid homestead in the foothills of the Appalachains. It has been housing my small family while we have been building... lots of chaos! We are approaching the final stages and I am needing some skilled labour to help with the final projects. These include: building a set of internal stairs, completing a balcony on the second floor to mount our 9 50W solar panels, installing kitchen countertops and cupboards, fitting a simple "water out" plumbing system, and closing up the sofits. We are working with lots of natural material and reclaimed lumber.
I estimate this should take one person roughly 2 weeks to complete. My hands may not be skilled, but they are strong and I am available to offer general labour help to the person filling the position.
Should you feel confident in your ability to do the work listed, I am willing and able to offer an hourly rate, plus meals and camping space.
I would love to hear from you to see if we are a good fit.
