*NS Hiking Summit June 3-5, Chéticamp*

Hike Nova Scotia invites individuals and groups with an interest in hiking,
walking and snowshoeing to the ninth annual Nova Scotia Hiking Summit from
Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Chéticamp at the Cabot Trail
Arena. The summit is a celebration of hiking culture and includes
workshops, hiking stories, networking opportunities and hikes. It is hosted
by Hike NS, Les Hikers Club and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Sponsors include Parks Canada, Inverness County, Destination Cape Breton,
the Acadian Credit Union, the Royal Bank, Les Amis du Plein Air, Atlantick,
Tri-Mac Toyota, Live Life in Tents, Harbour Restaurant & Bar, Le Gabriel
Restaurant and Lounge, Chéticamp Fisheries, Pictou Landing First Nation,
Cabot Trail Sea & Golf Chalets, Chéticamp Co-op, Aucoin Bakery, The Doryman
Pub & Grill, Ross Screenprint and Hike the Highlands Festival Society.


There is limited space, so please register early to secure your spot.
Registration is $65 (plus 15% discount for paid Hike NS members) and $40
youth/students. Registration includes some meals, evening events, morning
workshop sessions and afternoon guided hikes. The Saturday awards meal is
an additional $20 to $30. Registration does not include accommodation - you
must arrange this on your own. If it does not sell-out, registration will
