Good afternoon,

During 2013, the City of Ottawa will develop new Public Engagement guidelines and tools to assist City staff to effectively and consistently engage with residents on issues that affect them.

During the months of March and April 2013, the City of Ottawa wants to hear the ideas of residents for improving how City staff routinely engage and consult with them.  The input will be used to inform the guidelines and toolkit.

We are now inviting our community partners to assist in the promotion of these public consultation opportunities.  We would appreciate if you could widely share the attached information with your clients as well as networks.

En 2013, la Ville d'Ottawa élaborera de nouvelles lignes directrices et des outils  en matière de mobilisation du public, et ce, pour aider le personnel municipal à communiquer efficacement et de façon cohérente avec les résidents concernant les sujets qui les touchent.

Au cours des mois de mars et d'avril 2013, la Ville d'Ottawa souhaite connaître les suggestions des résidents afin d'améliorer les méthodes de communication et de consultation qu'emploie habituellement le personnel de la Ville auprès d'eux.
