We are pleased to announce that the 2017 Action Ottawa Request for Proposals (RFP) is now available.  The RFP (attached) can be received by emailing affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca<mailto:affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca>.  We have also posted the required documents on MERX.



This RFP includes the following capital funding:

§  Up to a total of $10M is available from the Investment in Affordable Housing for Ontario (IAH) 2014 Extension and the Social Infrastructure Fund (SIF) Program streams, and

§  Up to a total of $8M (estimated) may be available from a new Government of Ontario program entitled Home For Good (HFG).



Under this RFP, proposals that provide one or more of the following priority areas will be considered:

§  Mixed Composition Affordable Housing (includes mixed income and unit type affordable housing proposals); and/or

§  Supportive Housing for the following provincial priority homelessness areas (Chronic homelessness, Youth homelessness, Indigenous, homelessness; and homelessness following transitions from provincially-funded institutions and service systems (e.g., hospitals and prisons)).

The 2017 RFP process and requirements includes a number of changes from previous RFPs.  If you intend to submit a proposal, ensure that you read all of the 2017 RFP document so that your submission meets all of the new and changed requirements.

The deadline for inquiries is Friday, August 25th, 2017

The RFP will close at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

An accessible version of the RFP will be available on July 12th.

Nous avons le plaisir d’annoncer que la demande de propositions (DP) d’Action Ottawa pour 2017 est maintenant disponible. Cette DP comprend le financement d’immobilisations qui suit :

§  Une somme totale pouvant aller jusqu’à 10 M$, provenant de l’Élargissement 2014 du Programme d’investissement dans le logement abordable de l’Ontario (PILAO) et du Fonds d’infrastructure sociale, est disponible.

§  Une somme totale pouvant aller jusqu’à 8 M$ (chiffre estimatif), provenant d’un nouveau programme du gouvernement de l’Ontario appelé Logements pour de bon (LPB), pourrait être disponible.



Selon les termes de cette DP, nous étudierons les propositions qui abordent au moins un des domaines prioritaires suivants :

§  le logement abordable mixte (y compris les propositions relatives à des logements abordables de différents types et pour différents revenus);

§  le logement avec services de soutien pour les catégories d’itinérance suivantes, qui sont prioritaires au niveau provincial : itinérance chronique, itinérance chez les jeunes, itinérance chez les autochtones, ainsi que l’itinérance touchant les personnes qui quittent un établissement ou un système de services financé par le gouvernement provincial (comme un hôpital ou une prison).

Le processus et les exigences qui concernent la DP de 2017 incorporent plusieurs changements par rapport aux DP antérieures. Si vous avez l’intention de soumettre une proposition, prenez soin de lire en entier le document relatif à la présente DP pour que votre soumission puisse répondre aux nouvelles exigences et à celles qui ont été modifiées.

La date limite pour les demandes de renseignements est le vendredi 25 août 2017.

La DP prendra fin à 15 h le mercredi 4 octobre 2017.

Une version accessible de la demande de propositions sera disponible le 12 juillet.
