The due date for attached Naloxone Needs Assessment Survey has been further extended to May 11.  Please feel free to expand the distribution beyond your sub-project organizations to any relevant organization in your respective communities.

Hello,
The Government of Canada is supporting communities in their response to COVID-19 outbreak, which includes support for people who use drugs. As part of these efforts, Health Canada is exploring opportunities to work with national health organizations to distribute and provide training in the use of naloxone in underserved communities, where provincial take-home naloxone programs or other such distribution programs may not meet existing needs.
The Homelessness Policy and Partnerships Division at Employment and Social Development Canada is seeking information on needs in Reaching Home-funded communities, which could be supported by Health Canada or through other sources.
To ensure their naloxone kits needs are captured, we encourage you to share this survey across organizations within your community, as needed.
Please respond to this e-mail by May 11, 2020 and attach the completed survey for your community.
We appreciate your assistance during this very busy time.
