Community Forum on the new United Way Ottawa Investment and Impact
Review Report

Thursday, June 14th,  7 pm

Rideau High School, 815 St. Laurent Boulevard

The recommendations coming out of this report are an important step in
our efforts to address the United Way's relationship with Ottawa
communities. There is still much work to be done, but we should feel
proud of what we have accomplished to date. The motion that we put
forward at the 2011 AGM was not passed, but we did have an impact, as
you can see from some of the report's recommendations.

 We need to make sure that the recommendations we support are
implemented. We need to continue the public discussion on those issues
that are not addressed.

We have momentum and we have another United Way AGM just around the
corner! Let's make sure the community voice is heard!

See Ottawa Community Action's initial response to the report attached,
as well as a compilation of the 37 recommendations, in English and
French.
